Artist Statement:

Kylee Malloy is an Australian based artist from Aotearoa/New Zealand who now resides and creates on Gadigal land. She weaves together concepts from the realms of science, nature, and humanity with a particular focus on the body as both a tangible form and a conceptual domain. Utilising a multimedia approach, she often employs wax—a medium deeply rooted in her experience with Histology and Medical Laboratories, to create work rich in symbolism and semi-autobiographical elements.
